Mat was inserted into box with one end curled up. Even though it's a little flatter after use you can still see the crease. Otherwise if not for human error it's a good product.had this over a year now, saves indents from my vinyl floors. Looks good & easy to cleanThe product was really good.So the mat is fantastic does everything I want. The major problem is really smells. It smells like skunk or some bad weed. I washed the top of it and keeping window open. I’m hoping the smell will go away. So 3 stars for now if the smell goes away I’ll up my rating.My desk sits at the edge of the rug, and my chair casters were often snatched in the rug. This clear mat looks very elegant, it is practically invisible, doesn’t hide the beauty of the wood floor or the rug. The mat is a little soft that the casters cause slight dimple in it, though which flatten out when you move the chair. If the mat were harder, I would have given it 5 stars.I bought three of these, two for under rolling office chairs in a 12 x 12 home office where hubby and I work and one in a large master for under a spin bike. Both rooms have LVP that I don't want dented or cracked under heavy weight.They come rolled up so to get them flat I had to put heavy text books on all the corners for a week but they eventually laid down. The mats are thick, which is exactly what I wanted, especially for the spin bike. I think they will work for what I need to protect the LVP.I'll update the review as time marches on but I wanted to confirm what many other reviewers have said. These mats smell horrible and still smell after a week. They smell like dead skunk and that is not hyperbole. I can smell them when I hit the top of the steps about 15 feet from the door to the office! The single mat in the large room no longer smells but the two mats in the smaller room do and it gives me a headache. I'm not typically a complainer and I still work all day in the stinky office but now I do it with the window fully open. I'm moving my electric scent diffuser to the office to see if that helps.I think trying to air out two mats in a small room was a mistake. They'll eventually air out but I recommend you air these outside your home for a week if you can.I am hopeful the mats will perform well given the thickness, hence the three stars.Me quedé con el pero no corre la silla como debieraI agree with all of the vendor's features except for the instantly flat. I waited 2 days with dumbbells on the corners to flatten it out. Otherwise it curled slightly at each end, but I fully expected this so it does not impact my satisfaction with the purchase. It is very clear, as hoped for, per other customer reviews. It is thick, heavy, soft, and yet does not take on indentations. I found it odorless and my office chair rolls on it very smoothly, so much so that it takes a tiny amount of focus to keep from rolling off. It does slip slightly over time. I line it up in parallel with the pattern of the floor, and after a day or two it ends up a quarter inch askew. If I try to straighten it out with the chair on it, it doesn't slide, so I wouldn't call it slippery for me. I have it on a Pergo Vintage Pewter Oak floor, for a sense of the material it interacts with. The slippage is not enough where I would want a mat that has more stickiness to it, which could mar the surface of the floor. All in all, I would recommend and purchase again.The matt is great. It is transparent and thick and I use it under bird's cage. It is easy to clean - just wipe off with damp cloth. Really good. I am very happy with it.Looks great and it seems it will last !tres bien
